Additionally, Ukrainian society demonstrates support for key institutions within the country against the backdrop of increasing diplomatic pressure on Kyiv.

Trust in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reversed its previous downward trajectory and reached 21%, returning the head of state to the top three institutions with the highest support. Ahead remain the Armed Forces of Ukraine with 57% and volunteer organizations with 28%. Such dynamics demonstrate that in situations of pressure on the country’s political leadership, society mobilizes support for those structures that embody the defense and resilience of the state.

The topic of the peace plan, which began to be actively discussed late last week, has become one of the key focuses of attention for Ukrainians. Two-thirds of respondents (66%) are aware of the negotiations and follow the developments. Another fifth (20%) are informed, though without deep involvement.

Assessing the content of the peace plan as a whole, a significant part of the respondents (43%) considers it unacceptable for Ukraine. One-third of respondents see in it a combination of acceptable and unacceptable provisions.

Acceptability of the peace plan points

But when the conversation turns to specifics, the public position becomes clearer. The vast majority of Ukrainians do not accept the idea of factual recognition of Ukrainian territories as Russian, limiting the number of the Armed Forces, dual management of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, full amnesty for Russian war criminals, and the full reintegration of the Russian Federation into the global economy. These provisions are perceived as incompatible with notions of sovereignty, security, and justice.

Acceptability of specific points of the peace plan

At the same time, those components of the plan aimed at strengthening security and restoring political normalcy receive a more favorable attitude.
